GHWC presented the 5th Annual Diabetes Alliance Seminar along with Advent Health and the Flagler Health Dept. It provided great updates on diabetes treatment and education.

GHWC members, Jenny Scott, Ann Roffman and Lucie Lachance, joined a few Palm Coast residents to listen to Carol Mini, City of Palm Coast Urban Forester, during a nature walk at Waterfront Park. Carol shared many details about the sabal palm, Florida's state tree, the live oaks, and some invasive species such as the pepper bush. She spoke of the eagles, osprey and water fowl that can be seen at the park.
