Material Girls Visit the Alpha Women's Center

On Friday, April 9th, 2021, members of the Material Girls and friends visited the Alpha Women's Center in Bunnell.  Michelle Kreiss-Keating, Lucie Lachance, Louise Porter and her friends, Genia Elliott and Mary Iavsky listened to Ashley Smith describe the Center's programs.

A tour of the Center included the counseling room, the Baby Boutique and the ultrasound area.  Ashley shared that the Knights of Columbus donated the equipment valued at $25,000.  Most of the funds for the Center's program come from various church groups in the area as well as from the money received at the thrift shop.

The Material Girls continue to provide origami bags, baby hats and booties for clients of the Center.
