April 22nd, 2024 AdventHealth's John Subers, Nancy Habeck and Debra Vanoy joined the Material Girls during their meeting. The AdventHealth team showed their appreciation with an edible bouquet and a photo of Michelle Kreiss Keating giving pillows to Nancy.

February 16th, 2024 - several ladies from the Material Girls and the Health & Wellness committee crafted cute favors for this month's general meeting.

January 29th, 2024
The Material Girls attended a 'stuffing' meeting. 87 bears were stuffed and a few abdominal pillows. The group spent 475.5 hours  of donated time. In-kind donations totaled $791.00. 
November 14th, 2023 
Monthly meetings allow some of the talented members of the Material Girls to enjoy each other's company as they work on colorful crocheted/knitted blankets, squishy pillows, cuddly bears, and soft washcloths.  These items will bring smiles to cancer patients, to children who participate in the WIC program, and to those who are helped at the Family Life Center
October 23rd, 2023 
Twenty three Material Girls got together to stuff pillows and bears, to learn how to crochet, to tie quilts, to share completed projects.  Whether threading a needle, cutting fabric, knotting thread, stuffing bears and pillows, working at a sewing machine, everybody's hands were busy.
It was fun to reconnect after the summer months and to welcome the ladies who joined us for the first time - Donna McGevna, Suzanne O'Meally, Wanda Mayer and Mary Stagliano.
